The problem

The 3% that slips through
because it looked finished.

A junior analyst handed me a client brief. Clean formatting. Strong tone. Perfect structure. Confident subheaders. Twelve pages of polished output.

I found eight errors in five minutes.

Not typos. Not formatting issues. Structural errors. An outdated regulation cited as current. A market figure presented without a date. A recommendation that assumed a budget the client didn't have. A competitor analysis that omitted the actual market leader.

The brief looked finished. It was not finished. It was plausible.

"Plausible is the most expensive category in modern work."

We are teaching an entire generation to produce faster. We are not teaching them to verify any of it. That gap is about to get very expensive.

Every AI training on the market teaches you how to get answers. This is the only course that teaches you how to know whether the answer is any good.

The method

23 lessons. 5 modules.
One discipline.

Verify before you ship. Every output. Every time.

Module 1 · Primer 00
Why verification is the missing skill

The Verification Skills Gap

Why polish is not proof. Where verification lives in the workflow. The 3% problem. Why experts catch more. The cost of plausible.

Module 2 01
Know how AI fails

The Seven Failure Modes

Every AI output fails in one of seven predictable ways. Fabrication. Outdated data. Omission. False precision. Scope drift. Commitment creep. Reasoning collapse. Diagnose each in under 60 seconds.

Module 3 02
How to verify

The Verification Sprint

The 5-minute, 5-dimension protocol. Self-consistency. Deterministic checks. Source verification. Assumption audit. Commitment check. Live walkthroughs on real briefs.

Module 4 03
Scale verification

Self-Consistency and Automated Gates

Run the same question 10 times. Measure stability. Build automated quality gates before the human ever sees the output. Conformal prediction applied to everyday work.

The catalog

Every AI output fails in one of seven ways.

Learn to diagnose each one in under 60 seconds.

01
Fabrication
Invented facts that sound plausible.
02
Outdated Data
Stale numbers presented as current.
03
Omission
Missing what matters most.
04
False Precision
Confident tone on uncertain ground.
05
Scope Drift
Answering a question you didn't ask.
06
Commitment Creep
Language that binds you to more than you intended.
07
Reasoning Collapse
Conclusion doesn't follow from premises.
Live autopsy · Capstone

Eight errors. Five minutes. On camera. In the capstone, CM takes a real polished AI brief and performs a live autopsy. Each Verification Sprint dimension applied in turn. Each failure mode exposed. The brief had been reviewed twice before. Both reviewers approved it. Both missed everything.

"They were reading for polish. Not for truth."

Grounded in 50+ peer-reviewed papers including conformal prediction, self-consistency in language models, cognitive load research, and human-AI decision-making studies.

Honestly

This is for you if:

You use AI output in professional work where errors have consequences
You've approved AI-generated content and later found mistakes
You review work from people who use AI and need to catch what they miss
You manage a team and want a verification standard, not a prayer
You've felt the gap between "looks good" and "is good" but don't have a system for it

Don't take this if:

You want prompt templates. The prompt is not where errors hide.
You want tool tutorials. This is tool-agnostic.
You think "I'll just read it over" counts as verification.

FAQ

Before you ask.

The questions we hear most. If yours isn't here, email [email protected].

What are the 'seven failure modes' the course is built around?
Seven specific ways AI output fails: hallucination, confident wrongness, citation fabrication, instruction drift, partial-task completion, format-correct-content-wrong, and verification theater. Each gets a detection method and a Human Test rubric you can apply in 5 minutes.
Is this only for engineers building AI systems?
No. Half the curriculum is non-technical verification (reading, checking, gating). The other half adds self-consistency sampling and automated gates for technical users. Both halves stand alone.
How is this different from Trust Engineering (E2)?
Verification Masterclass is the human discipline — how to read AI output and catch failures. Trust Engineering (E2, €197) is the production math — conformal prediction, calibrated reliability scores, TrustGate. Most people do this course first, then E2 if they're shipping code.
Do I need to write code?
No for the core curriculum. The 'Automated Gates' module shows you how to wire verification checks into your tools (with templates) but you can use it as a thinking framework without writing any code.
Time commitment?
6–8 hours total. The verification sprint exercise (module 3) takes the longest because you apply it to your own real output.
Will this still be relevant when GPT-5 / Claude 5 ships?
Yes. The seven failure modes survive model releases — they get smaller, not extinct. The verification discipline is the moat. We update the syllabus annually.
Can my company pay for this?
Yes. We issue invoices and provide a one-pager for L&D approval. Email [email protected] subject 'Reimbursement.'
What's the refund policy?
€197 courses are non-refundable. The price is set so the decision is small. Real access issues — email us.
